Assessment: 1. Pre-assessment: The assessor will explain to you about the assessment plan and help you fill it out. 2. Summative assessment: You need to demonstrate your competency in order to get recognition of your competency by demonstration of the tasks given by the assessor nominated by the TTBS. The assessor tells you about the outcome of the assessment soon after the end of the procedure on the same day of the assessment. If you have some disagreement on the assessor’s decision, an appeal can be launched to the TTBS within 10 working days after the assessment day. Please click here to download the appeal template. |

Quality Assurance: 1. Monitoring: Monitoring and review of the NVQs training program are carried out by RTO & TTBS together. During training execution, the training manager is responsible for ensuring the standards prescribed in the qualification package, including competency standards. The TTBS monitoring team may visit during integrated assessment proceedings. Please click here for more detail. 2. Moderation: In light of the assessment report submitted by the assessor, an assessment moderation session was held as another quality assurance measure. This process ensured that the assessment that took place and the evidence collected on which the judgment was made met the principles of moderation, the requirements of the competency standard, and the expectations of the industry. b) TTB establishes a schedule of moderation meetings and requests relevant assessors to attend moderation meetings along with an assessment record including all evidence and documentation for one example of assessment for which competency was granted at the first assessment opportunity; an assessment record that resulted in a “Not Yet Competent” decision made.
